The Trade Log is the foundation of NextTick. Every trade you take lives here — timestamped, graded, tagged, and searchable — giving you a single source of truth to review your performance and feed the analytics engine. Whether you log a trade in ten seconds with the quick-log row, import a week of fills from your broker, or attach annotated charts to each entry, all of it flows into one filterable, sortable ledger.

Key capabilities

The Trade Log gives you four ways to capture and review your trades. Quick-log row — a persistent input bar at the top of the page. Enter a symbol, direction, entry, and exit price, then press Enter. The trade is saved in under ten seconds. See Log a trade in ten seconds for the full walkthrough. CSV import — pull trade history directly from your broker by uploading an exported CSV file. NextTick supports Interactive Brokers, Tradovate, Webull, and ThinkOrSwim. Column mappings are saved so you only configure them once. See Import trades from your broker via CSV. Screenshots — attach one or more chart images to any trade. Drag directly from TradingView into the screenshot area. Free accounts support up to 2 screenshots per trade; Pro accounts support up to 20. See Attach chart screenshots to your trades. Filter, sort, and search — use the toolbar above the trade table to filter by date range, symbol, direction, grade, setup tag, or timeframe. Sort by any column. The search bar matches against symbol, notes, and tags simultaneously.
