The Feed is NextTick’s social layer — and it works differently from every other trading community you’ve used. Every post in the Feed is a verified trade pulled directly from a trader’s journal. There are no screenshots, no cropped brokerage statements, no made-up fills. When someone posts a win or a loss, you can trust it’s real because NextTick sourced it from their actual Trade Log.

How the Feed works

Each post in the Feed originates from a trade record in a trader’s journal. When a trader marks a trade as shared, it surfaces in the Feed alongside their verified P&L and R-multiple. You can interact with any shared trade in three ways:
  • Quote — add your own commentary or analysis on top of the shared trade, creating a new post attributed to you
  • Repost — surface the trade to your own followers without adding commentary
  • Discuss — reply directly to the post; every reply you write ties back to a verified trade from your own journal
Real P&L leaderboards rank traders by actual logged performance, so you can see at a glance who has the receipts to back up what they’re saying.

How to share a trade

Before sharing, the trade must have a symbol, direction, and both entry and exit prices recorded.
1

Open the trade in your Trade Log

Navigate to the Trade Log and click the trade you want to share.
2

Click the Share button

The Share button appears in the trade detail panel. It is only active when the trade has a symbol, direction, entry price, and exit price filled in.
3

Add an optional caption or analysis note

Write a caption to give context — what the setup was, why you took it, what you learned. This is optional but recommended.
4

Choose your audience

Select Public to make the trade visible to anyone on NextTick, or Followers only to limit visibility to people who follow you.
5

Post to the Feed

Confirm and post. The trade appears in the Feed with your verified journal data attached — symbol, direction, P&L, and R-multiple.

Privacy and safety

You are always in control of what appears in the Feed. Nothing from your journal is posted automatically.
  • Only trades you explicitly share appear publicly — your full Trade Log stays private by default
  • Your exact position size is hidden from other users; only P&L and R-multiple are shown
  • You can unshare a trade at any time by opening it in the Trade Log and toggling the share setting off; it is immediately removed from the Feed
The Feed is available on all NextTick plans, including Free. If you upgrade to the Creator plan ($49/mo), you unlock a subscriber-only feed — posts visible exclusively to your paying subscribers, separate from the public Feed.
