The Dashboard is the first screen you see after logging in. It pulls your most important performance data into one view so you can orient yourself before the market opens, review yesterday’s results at a glance, or check in during a session without digging through menus. Everything on the Dashboard is linked — click any widget to drill into the underlying data.
The Dashboard is currently in active development (Phase 1 — Stage 4). Additional widgets and customization options are being added over the next build sessions.

What’s on the Dashboard

Key performance indicators

The KPI strip at the top of the Dashboard shows your most important numbers for the current period:
MetricWhat it shows
Net P&LYour total realized profit or loss for the selected period
Win ratePercentage of trades closed with a positive P&L
Average R-multipleYour average profit or loss expressed as a multiple of the risk you took
Best setupThe setup tag with the highest total P&L for the period
Switch the period between Day, Week, and Month to see how your numbers shift across different time windows.

Equity curve

The equity curve plots your cumulative P&L over time as a continuous line. Use the timeframe selector to zoom in or out:
  • 1W — last seven calendar days
  • 1M — last 30 days
  • 3M — last 90 days
  • YTD — from January 1 to today
  • ALL — your full trading history in NextTick

How to read the equity curve

  • A smooth upward slope indicates consistent, steady performance with controlled drawdowns
  • Sharp drops mark drawdown episodes — click any drop to open Drawdown Forensics and reconstruct exactly which trades started it
  • Flat stretches indicate low-activity periods — check whether those align with your dead hours in Goals to understand whether the inactivity was deliberate or avoidant

Performance heatmap

The heatmap below the equity curve gives you a condensed view of your trading patterns by day and time. Cells are colored by P&L density, so your best and worst periods stand out immediately. Use it to spot whether your edge is concentrated in specific sessions or scattered unpredictably.

Recent journal feed

The journal feed lists your most recently logged trades — symbol, direction, P&L, and any notes you added. Click any entry to open the full trade detail view with screenshots and your analysis.

Market status indicator

A live indicator in the header shows whether the US market is currently open, in pre-market, in after-hours, or closed. This updates automatically so you always know your trading context at a glance.
